If you love dancing you will love Zumba, whatever age or fitness level you are.

Zumba combines Latin-inspired dance moves with upbeat music for a full-body workout, that feels more like a dance party with friends, than a traditional exercise routine. It’s suitable for people of all fitness levels and is designed to improve cardiovascular health, boost energy, and enhance overall well-being.
With funding from The Health Lottery and Peoples Health Trust, One Stop Advice Centre is offering Zumba classes to encourage our clients to improve their health and well-being.
Zumba is more than just a workout; it’s a fun, empowering experience that helps you feel confident, healthy, and connected. For our South Asian clients, we hope our ladies-only Zumba classes will provide a unique opportunity to embrace fitness in a safe and culturally respectful space. Reasons to join our classes include:
It’s Fun and Engaging - Unlike monotonous gym workouts, Zumba is full of vibrant music and exciting dance moves that make exercise feel like a celebration. The variety of styles, from salsa to bhangra, ensures every session is dynamic and enjoyable.
Beginner-Friendly - Zumba doesn’t require any prior dance experience. The moves are easy to follow, and instructors often offer modifications to suit different fitness levels, making it accessible for everyone.
Low-Pressure Atmosphere - The focus is on having fun rather than perfecting moves, creating a relaxed and supportive environment for beginners. It’s a judgment-free space where you can dance, sweat, and smile without worrying about getting it “right.”
Health Benefits - South Asian women often face a higher risk of conditions like diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. Zumba provides an effective way to improve heart health, burn calories, and maintain a healthy weight, helping to reduce these risks.
Culturally Inclusive - Ladies-only classes create a safe and respectful space where women from conservative backgrounds can exercise comfortably. Our classes incorporate South Asian music and dance styles, such as bhangra or Bollywood-inspired moves, which resonate with the community’s cultural roots.
Boosts Mental Well-Being - The combination of physical activity and music releases endorphins, improving mood and reducing stress. For women juggling family responsibilities and cultural expectations, Zumba offers a much-needed opportunity for self-care.
A Social and Supportive Environment - Our Ladies-only Zumba classes foster a sense of community. They provide a space to connect with other women, share experiences, and build friendships, helping to alleviate feelings of isolation or loneliness.
What are you waiting for? You don't need anything more than a pair of trainers or some comfortable shoes, and a water bottle.
